Overview
FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE, Dark Horse Soil Stabilization, a construction company based out of Youngstown, Ohio, is interviewing for an Operator/Foreman-in-training.

Dark Horse Soil Stabilization is a soil stabilization contractor located in Youngstown, Ohio. Our projects range throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and Virginia. Travel to these locations as work arises will be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment on jobsite
• Review, setup, and work with crew at project
• Work with, and coordinate crew in soil stabilization activities
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule in sequence for stabilization
• Ordering materials for each day of work
• Maintain all records required concerning production, safety, attendance, time worked by crew members, personnel matters, etc.
• Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while maintaining the company’s reputation for quality workmanship/product.
• Responsible for monitoring compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all Company policies; may issue disciplinary action to employees when infractions of such policies occur – with overall review/approval of company’s President.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level
• Continuous standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and crawl occasionally throughout a scheduled work shift
• Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License & Clean driving record (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 hours per  day, Monday – Friday

• Youngstown, OH 44509: Relocate before starting work (Required)
